Fees

Fees Policy

Unless otherwise stated, fees are payable to Homeschool Connections and are non-refundable.

Registration Fees

A $265 fee per family for participation on one day (Mondays or Wednesdays), or $365 for both days is due at the time of registration. This fee covers rent, insurance and other administrative costs, and is not prorated.

If your only Monday class is Beginning Band or Middle-High Showstopper Musical, you will only pay a One Day Registration Fee. If your only Wednesday class is Beginning Band or Middle-High Showstopper Musical, you will only pay a One Day Registration Fee.

If you are taking a class that meets additional days outside of Monday or Wednesday, you do not need to pay an Additional Day Registration Fee.

Registration and Supply Fees (labeled up-front class fees) are due immediately upon registration. They will have a due date of 4/1/24, no matter when you register during the year.

Tuition Fees

When you register for a class, you commit to taking a year-long class and agree to pay the full tuition fee for that class.  For your convenience, we divide the full tuition fee into six equal installments. This division does not correspond to quarters, months, nor number of classes attended. If registering after classes have started, tuition payments are prorated.

Tuition paid in advance is non-refundable. No reimbursement is given if an instructor misses a class. No reimbursement is given if classes are canceled due to unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances such as weather, unsafe road conditions, earthquakes, or electrical/plumbing outages on site.

To have tuition waived for a dropped class, the online Class Drop Form located in the registration system must be completed and the drop fee paid on or before the tuition due date. If the drop fee is not received by the tuition due date, the tuition payment is due.

Supply Fees

Supply fees (labeled up-font class fees) are payable directly to Homeschool Connections and are non-refundable. They are due immediately upon registration. Some instructors have a second semester fee, which is due by January 15, 2025. You will receive an email reminder if this applies to you.

Drop Fees

When you drop a class on or after September 1, we waive your unpaid tuition fees, but are legally bound to pay the instructor the full class fee for your student. To offset this cost, we charge a $45 fee per student per dropped class.

Please drop your student from class by completing the online Class Drop Form found within the registration system and pay the drop fee on or before the tuition due date. When you drop, your student is immediately removed from the class roster and may no longer attend class. Students will not receive physical copies or supplies for dropped classes.

Payments

Payments may be made at any time online, at the Welcome Table, or mailed to PO Box 278, Bothell, WA 98041. Let the treasurer know if you are mailing a check.

Tuition due dates are as follows:

Payment 1 – May 15, 2024
Payment 2 – September 15, 2024
Payment 3 – October 15, 2024
Payment 4 – November 15, 2024
NO payment is due in December.
Payment 5 – January 15, 2025
Payment 6 – February 15, 2025

Late Fees

$35 will be assessed for payments received after midnight of the date due. Unpaid accounts may result in your student being removed from class. Accounts with past due amounts over thirty days old will accrue additional late fees.

All tuition due dates are posted above.  Please plan accordingly as due dates are firm.

If you have extenuating circumstances and would like to request an extension, please email the Treasurer and explain your situation.  Your request will be made known to all board members for their consideration.

Persistent late payments and/or unpaid fees can jeopardize future participation in Connections’ classes.
