Is a homeschool co-op right for you?

At Connections, we believe that every parent should have a say in their child’s education.

Since the day you became a parent, you’ve been your child’s primary teacher. You understand your child better than anyone. Every student has different academic needs and learning goals. The right homeschool co-op furnishes you with the resources to complete your student’s education the way you envision.

How do I join?

Although Connections is a non-profit, Christian organization, all homeschooling families are welcomed. We ask that our families be respectful of our Statement of Faith and Beliefs while on campus, regardless of personal religious or non-religious affiliation. We look forward to welcoming you with open hearts and arms.

     Pre-Registration         Have Questions?

At Connections, we feel that all students deserve the opportunity to explore the ideas and subjects that interest them.

A homeschool co-op provides opportunities for experiences that are challenging to do at home – learning to play an instrument in a band, participating in a photography show or geography fair, engaging in teamwork training for a musical production, or learning the art of public speaking. If you do not relish the idea of messy art projects or science labs, the mess that creativity produces can stay at the homeschool co-op!

If there are subjects you don’t feel qualified to teach (or maybe just don’t want to), co-ops help you fill in the gaps. Connections offers over 100 classes from preschool through 12th grade on Mondays in Bothell and Wednesdays in Woodinville. Classes range from Art, Band, Drama and Choir to Languages, Logic, Bible, History, English, Literature, Communication, Science, Technology and Math. Students may enroll in as few as one or as many as ten courses over the two days.

Instructors are chosen for their subject expertise and their passion for working with students. As our instructors get to know the strengths and uniqueness of each student, they are purposeful to invest in their growth and development. Classes meet once a week on campus, university model style, and parents oversee their student in the at-home work our instructors have prepared. You are free to tailor the work to your child’s individual needs. As a homeschooling parent you are ultimately in charge of your child’s education, but our instructors partner with you in the process.

At Connections, we desire to launch well-prepared young adults who courageously impact their world.

Young men and women need both hard and soft skills when entering adulthood, and a homeschool co-op can be a great place to develop those in a safe environment. At Connections, students are given opportunities to learn to collaborate with their peers and communicate with their teachers, gain study skills, express and advocate for their ideas, navigate social groups, develop a good work ethic, become self-motivated, see their self-confidence blossom, and foster their capacity for leadership inside and outside the classroom. Activities like yearbook, spirit days, concerts and dances contribute to a well-rounded homeschooling experience.

More About Us

The biggest advantage of Connections is our community.

One of the hidden strengths of a co-op is that other like-minded parents are on site. Adult mentors are a vital part of growing up, and whether it is sitting next to younger musicians in band, playing a board game with a third grader in The Hangout, or just chatting with a sophomore in the hall, many parents at Connections love being involved with students, and willingly pour into their lives.

What do you get when you put over 250 homeschooling parents and 600 homeschooling students together on campus? Thousands of hours of homeschooling experience! We’ll be the first to admit that homeschooling and raising children can be challenging, but we’re here in the trenches with you! You will never feel alone in our warm and welcoming community. Our heart’s desire is to invite you into community with other parents and teachers who will encourage and support you and be your allies on the homeschooling journey. And we’re sure you will make life-long friendships along the way!
