I thoroughly cherish encouraging students to become lifelong learners through an approach to teaching that instills confidence in their abilities and potential. I am a huge fan of project-based learning and am eclectic with my choice of curriculum. To be sure, I am passionate about crafting classes that reflect a wide range of students.
After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, English, and Spanish I spent years as both a private and public high school teacher, as well as a cheerleading coach. Then once I completed my Master’s degree in Counseling/Psychology, I practiced as a mental health therapist in a variety of settings. Without a doubt, I have an equal love of psychology and education, and am thrilled about the opportunity to participate in the education of this community’s students!
