Bronwen Wilson

Originally from New Zealand, I grew up in a music and arts-saturated home where my siblings and I would sing for hours around the piano, dash off to dance or music lessons, and watch each other perform in a wide variety of situations. I come from a family of educators (three generations!) and following suit I have a natural love of teaching and working with students.

I have three children and a wonderfully supportive husband. We started homeschooling in 2021 and have never looked back.  The biggest joy I’ve found in homeschooling is learning alongside the kids as well as having time to study the bible and our incredible God together – it truly is a joy and privilege.  Music and the arts are now the soundtrack of our home and there’s never a dull moment with someone singing, playing an instrument, or being dramatic – with the odd dance lesson thrown in for good measure!

I have been teaching dance and musical theatre for well over 25 years. I studied dance and education at university earning a degree and several post-grad qualifications. My journey has taken me across countries, performing and choreographing in various entertainment spheres (including musicals like Godspell, West Side Story, and The Sound of Music). During my teaching career, I taught at schools, tertiary institutions, and many private studios with my favorite genre being Musical Theatre as it combines dance, singing, and acting.  I find great joy in teaching and interacting with my students as I work to build confidence, strong performance skills, and a love of all things theatre.
