Kay Swartwood

Our family has been homeschooling since 2006 and we currently have two homeschool high school graduates and two homeschoolers still at home. Before I was a homeschool mom, I was an environmental engineer by education and profession, but I never lost my early love of math and science. I have been so blessed to be able to revisit math and various science subjects with my kids during their respective homeschool journeys. Astronomy, in particular, has been one of our family favorites.

Prior to joining Homeschool Connections, our family attended a small homeschool co-op in Shoreline for fifteen years. I had the privilege of teaching a wide variety of classes there and learned that I love teaching homeschool co-op classes. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to now teach at Homeschool Connections.
